- I started crafting at my grandparent's kitchen table. When we moved to the US (not speaking English), I would check out books with illustrations and started to copy the images. As I got older, I taught myself to draw portraits in pencil. In the beginning I used a lot of browns and blacks, at some point color exploded into my life. The more and brighter the color the better.

I use various mediums : acrylics, watercolor (pencils and tubes), printing, etching, gourds and soapstone. Each idea manifests on its own .
